Mary Ann Pasket Karonka, 72, of Anderson, died Thursday evening, November 28, 2013, at her home. Graveside services and interment will be 10:30 am Monday, December 2, 2013, in the K-A-W Family Cemetery, located on Mary's property off of CR 185 on Rosie's Lane. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Karonka, Steven Karonka, Nick Alvarado, Jeff Pasket, Jerome Pasket and Waylon Weston. There will be no formal visitation prior to the graveside service. Mary was born July 24, 1941 in Anderson to Stash and Rosie Busa Pasket. She enjoyed raising her chickens and working in her flower garden. Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Alvarado of Bryan; a son, James Karonka of Anderson; brother, David Pasket of Anderson; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
