Robert Muesse was born 09 Nov 1869 in Fayetteville, Fayette County, Texas, the fifth child born to Christine Weyandt b 19 Jun 1838 in Schameder, Siegen-Wittgenstein Nordhein-Westfalen, Germany, the daughter of Katherine Elisabeth surname being researched at this time, second wife of Johann Georg Heinrich Weyandt b 12 Dec 1777 in Germany; and, John J. Muesse b 22 Jun 1827 in Preuben d 26 Jan 1905 Fayette County, Texas, the son of Friederike Dorothea Grundgrieper b 1797 in Holstein, Germany and Johann Heinrich Muecke b 03 Aug 1802 in Elbe d 19 Nov 1874 on the Muecke farm in Flatonia, Texas. Robert suffered from depression and about a month after Annie Marie was born, he died from suicide and was buried in the Fayetteville City Cemetery.
