Dean Anderson of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the age of 72. He was born on December 10, 1940 in McKinney, Texas to Crook and Lucile (Drury) Anderson. Dean was employed at Howell's Home Furnishings for many years and finished his career in sales at Weir's Furniture. He is survived by his wife Retta, of 47 years, their children, Greg and wife Tonya, Dan and wife Joanie, Alecia and husband Todd, Jeff and wife Mary; ten grandchildren; and sister, Reba Anderson. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home. Published in Dallas Morning News on Nov. 26, 2013
