Born in the village of Lomy, town of Dacice, county of Jihlava, Moravia, Austrian Empire (now in the Czech Republic), the son of Frantisek and Johanna (Jarolin) Tejral. Brother of Martin Tejral . Probably the Andreas Tyral, age 26, from Moravia who emigrated to the United States on the ship Leipzig , which arrived in Baltimore, Maryland from Bremen, Germany on May 8, 1875. His parents Frank Tyral (age 62, workman), mother Johanna (57), and brother Martin (20), all from Austria, arrived in New York City from Bremen on the Oder on August 19, 1876. Johanna, by then a widow, lived in Stocking Precinct, Saunders County, Nebr. with her son Martin and his family in 1880 and 1885. Married (1) Cecilie Schmid on September 10, 1878 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Abie, Nebr. Married (2) Mrs. Antonia Lisy on May 21, 1901 at David City, Nebr. by a County Judge (divorced). Married (3) Marie (born 1859 in Moravia), who accompanied him back to Czechoslovakia in 1923. 1880 census (Oak Creek, Butler County, Nebr.): Andrew Teral (age 30, farmer, born Moravia), Sarah (wife, 22, keeping house, Moravia), and Anna (daughter, born November, Nebr.). 1885 census (same location): Andrew Tayrold (38, farmer), Celia (wife, 25, keeping house), Annie (daughter, 5, Nebr.), Tom (son, 4, Nebr.), Andrew (son, 2, Nebr.), and Mary (born January, Nebr.). 1900 census (same location): Andrew Tyral (born April 1844, Bohemia, farmer, married 21 years, immigrated 1880), Frank (son, March 1895, Nebr.), Andrew (son, Oct 1882, Nebr., at school), Mary (daughter, Dec 1883, Nebr., at school), Sadie (daughter, Nov 1887, Nebr., at school), and John (son, June 1893, Nebr., at school). ''''''''''''' Brainard Clipper (Brainard, Nebr.), June 29, 1933, p. 1, col. 2 FORMER BRAINARD MAN DIES IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA Tom Tejral received word, one day last week, of the death of his father, Andrew Tejral, in Trebic, Czechoslovakia. Andrew Tejral was born in Lomach, Moravia in 1848 and came to America with his parents as a young man. They settled on a farm near Wahoo, and Andrew helped build the Union Pacific railroad between Wahoo and Valparaiso. He later took up a homestead northeast of Brainard, on the land which Simon Kulhanek now owns. He was united in marriage to Miss Cecilia Schmid and to this union eight children were born, six of whom survive their parents. One child died in infancy. Mrs. Tejral died in 1900 and a son, Frank died in 1931. About ten years ago Mr. Tejral returned to Europe, remaining there until his death on April 9, 1933, at the age of eighty-five years. Besides his son, Thomas, deceased leaves two other sons, John of Bee and Andrew of Valparaiso; three daughters, Mrs. Agnes Kudrna of Leshara and Mrs. Andrew Buresh and Mrs. Mary Komenda of Brainard. He also leaves a brother, Martin of Bee, thirty-two grand-children and seventeen great grand-children.
