JASONVILLE - Patsy A. (Raley) Swan, 77, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away at 3:42 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 in her residence. She was born on July 10, 1936 in Coalmont, Indiana, daughter of Alta "Rip" Raley & Edna (Smith) Raley. Patsy married Norval "Derb" Swan on March 6, 1954 and he passed away on July 5, 2001. Survivors include her daughters, Debbie & Robert Sheller of Albany, IN, Tammy Myers & Jerry Beck of Jasonville, IN; grandchildren, Kensey & John Kennett, Trent & Audrey Myers, Jerri Beck, Cassie Beck, Patrick Sheller, Caitlinn Sheller, Benjamin Duncan, Michael Griffith; great-grandchildren, Rhett Kennett, Theron Kennett, Taylin Kennett, Avery Wasnidge, Max Myers; several nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Cheryl Griffith. Patsy had worked at the Bloomfield Court House in the Recorders Office. She used to be an avid horse rider. She also enjoyed bowling, bingo, knitting and crocheting. She was crazy about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Jasonville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post #172 and the Linton Moose Lodge. Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home. Graveside Services are 1 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Indiana.
