b. 26 July 1929, Tupelo, MS – d. 25 November 2007, Cookeville, TN, md on the 29th of September 1978, White Co., TN to Janet Diane (Wayt) Wooley. Zelvin "Bill" Leander Wooley, s/o Arlinder & Penny Wooley. COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Zelvin "Bill" Leander Wooley, 78, of Cookeville will be held Thursday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cookeville Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 29, from 7 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Mr. Wooley died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 26, 1929, in Tupelo, Miss., to the late Arlinder and Penny Wooley. Mr. Wooley was a truck driver and a realtor in Fairfield Glade. He was employed by Gaw and Action Carrier. His family includes his wife, Janet Wooley; five sons, Keith, Justin, Garth, Ronald and Randy; a daughter, Denise Slaughter; and a grandchild, Shelby Lynn Comeaux. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wooley was preceded in death by two daughters, April and Penny; two brothers, Zollen and Zardis Wooley; and three sisters, Sue, Nita and Noby.
