Ronald "Ron" Krolikowski, 76, of Ashton died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Brookfield Park nursing home in St. Paul. Private memorial services were Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul, with the Revs. Ray Kosmicki and Tom Ryan officiating. Private burial was in the St. Francis Cemetery at Ashton. Mr. Krolikowski was born Jan. 20, 1937, at Loup City to Clarence and Regina (Lewandowski) Krolikowski. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Rhonda Krolikowski of Ashton and Norman and Sandra Krolikowski of Cairo; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Jude Dean of Lincoln, Kayleen and Brian Grudzinski of Rockville, Geri and David Rademacher of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and Susan and Nate Worm of Lincoln; his twin brother, Ralph of Ashton; a sister, Annette Gallaway of Loup City; and 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ron grew up on the family farm and attended school at District 56 in Oak Creek Township and St. Francis Parochial School in Ashton. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He was united in marriage to DeeAynee Dembowski on Aug. 12, 1962, at St. Josaphat's Catholic Church in Loup City. He farmed his entire life in the Ashton area. He enjoyed polka music, dancing and talking in Polish to anyone who knew the language. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Regina; and a sister who died at birth.
