Mary Ruth Huddleston, 87, passed away November 7, 2013 in a Mineral Wells hospital. She was born March 27, 1926 in Mineral Wells the daughter of Homer and Laura Whorton Williams. She married Jack C. Huddleston in 1946 in Mineral Wells. She worked as a PBX Operator at the Baker Hotel from 1965 until it closed. She was a member of the Millsap Gardens Club and the Eastern Star. Services will be 2 PM Monday, November 11, 2013 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Poe Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Mack and Debbie Huddleston of Palo Pinto, Roger and Juanita Huddleston of Mineral Wells, James Huddleston of Millsap, Stanley and Rhonda Huddleston of Mineral Wells, grandchildren: Janet, Allen, Sherry, Lloyd, Tina, Cheronna, and Mitchell, 9 great-grandchildren, siblings and spouses: Gerald and Carolyn Williams of Plano, Linnie Knox of Farmington, New Mexico, Andy and Necie Williams of Lake Palo Pinto, brother-in-law: Dud Meeks of Mineral Wells, and special friend: Melvin Davis of Millsap. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on January 7, 1986, son: Paul Huddleston, grandson: J. J. Huddleston, sister: Betty Meeks, and brother: Dickie Williams.
