From the SOUTH BEND (IN) TRIBUNE, November 9, 2013: SOUTH BEND - Mary Laskowski, 63, passed away Thursday, Nov 7, 2013, in Memorial Hospital. Mary was born Feb 15, 1950, in South Bend, to the late Mack and Evamae (Newgent) Seward. Mary was also preceded in death by sister, Cindy "Jane" Seward. On Dec. 9, 1978, Mary married Thomas Laskowski, who survives along with aunts, Mary Putt and Margaret Smith; brother, Timothy (Julie) Seward; and by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mary worked for the Tire Rack for many years. She loved cooking and watching cooking shows. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
