Bio
Betty M. Hepp, 75, Topeka, died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 19, 1928, in Topeka, the daughter of Roy and Elizabeth Amelia Hafner Baer. Mrs. Hepp was employed as a youth service worker for the Youth Center of Topeka, retiring after 25 years. She graduated from Topeka High School. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and volunteered for many years at the church. She married William Hepp in 1955, in Topeka. She is survived by her stepmother, Lillabelle Stahl-Baer, of Burlingame; a son, Kevin Hepp, Berryton; a daughter, Maggie Margaret Davis, Topeka; and four grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Jaryl, Sarah and Dylan Davis. A memorial Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Frank Krische at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
