GARNET LEE CROSLEY Garnet Lee Crosley, son of Earl and Emma (Bellinger) Crosley, was born April 10, 1931 in Valley County, Nebraska. He died at the Phelps Memorial Hospital in Holdrege, Nebraska March 19, 1989 at the age of 57. He grew to manhood in the Valley County area and attended school in Ord, Nebraska. In 1952 he joined the U. S. Army and served during the Korea War until 1954. After his discharge he moved to Denver and worked for Robinson Brick and Tile Company. On September 27, 1958, he was united in marriage to Doris Coulter in Denver, Colorado. In 1959, they moved to a farm southwest of Hendley, Nebraska where he resided until his death. His greatest joys in life were his family and his farming. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Doris of the home; two sons and their wives, John and Jean of Kearney, Nebraska, James and Lynn of Holbrook, Nebraska; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Scott; two brothers and their wives, Arnold and Marcy of Denver, Colorado, Leland and Susie of Albugquerque, New Mexico; one sister, Alberta Kuklish of Lincoln, Nebraska and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held March 21, 1989 at 1:30 at Hendley United Methodist Church with Rev. Steven Todd officiating. Interment was in the Hendley Cemetery under the direction of Wenburg Funeral Home of Beaver City, Nebraska.
