Bio

Frank came by horseback from Nebraska after his mother, Lucy Reeder Chubbuck, received word that her father, Josiah Reeder,and brother, George Wilmot Reeder, had both died of typhoid fever less than a month apart in 1891. Frank was the oldest son of Lucy and John Frank Chubbuck. Frank came to help his aunt, Leda Finch Reeder,(who had 3 young children)run the family farm. Frank's brother, Asa, was listed in 1910 Census on Reeder farm, La Prairie. Asa most likely came by horseback with Frank, although no way to verify that. Frank never married and remained in LaPrairie and Janesville, WI the rest of his life. (this bio courtesy member 47676600)
