Bio

Bessie Roberts, 97, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, in Amarillo. She was born Aug. 29, 1908. She married Jadie Roberts in 1927. She retired from Rockwell Industries in California and moved to Clovis in 1969 with her husband. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Family members said she loved her dog, Dolly. She also enjoyed attending church, Sunday school and visiting with family and friends. Survivors include nieces Janiece Jack, Peggy Wilson and Jo Gable. Dana Moore of Pleasant Valley Church officiated. Burial took place in Mobeetie Cemetery in Mobeetie, Texas.
