Bio

Louise Tajchman Iwanski, 92, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 after a short illness. She was born on January 8, 1921 in Shiner, Texas to John and Lena Riess. Louise's love of baking (and eating) Kolaches inspired her and her first husband, Joe Tajchman, to open Joe's Country Bakery in Robstown, Texas. They operated this business for ten years. She was an active member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and St. Ann Altar Society for more than 59 years. She was also a member of KJZT and the Czech Heritage Society. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Tajchman, her second husband, Raymond Iwanski and her daughter, Pauline Tajchman Mueck. Burial will follow mass in Seaside Memorial Park.
