Obituary - Thomas Wilson, 83, died Dec 22, 1979, in a Murray hospital of pneumonia. Born April 19, 1896, Old Hill, Staffordshire, England, to Jack Hill and Ruth Weston Wilson. Married May Muir Dec. 18, 1918, in Salt Lake City. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Sept 27, 1978. Active member LDS Church. High priest Butler 11th Ward. Veteran WWI, Canadian Army. Retired meat cutter and farmer. Former manager ZCMI Food Division. Former active member Meat Cutters Union No. 537. Survisors: one son and one daughter, T. William and Mrs. Harold (Shirley) Blair; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Thursday noon at the Butler 11th Ward, 1845 E. 7200 South. Friends may call at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4670 S. State, Wed 6-8 p.m. and prior to services. Burial, Mountain View Cemetery.
