Bio
Joyce Nance Austin (April 28, 1931 - October 22, 2013) Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Joyce Nance Austin returned to heaven on October 22, 2013 while surrounded by her loved ones. Joyce will be missed by many friends and family members. She grew up in Kaysville, Utah, the daughter of Juanita Putman Nance and John Wesley Nance. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Guy Mark Austin, and her baby sister, Mary Lynn (Nance) Reinsch. Joyce often commented on how much she missed those who went before her. She is survived by her daughters, Jo Ann (Crystal), and Anita, her grandchildren, Sandra Crystal Austin and Timothy Jay Austin. Joyce's grandchildren were the pride of her life. Her sisters, Louella Craig and Mary, and brothers, Jay Nance and Daniel Nance have given her many nieces and nephews who have loved Joyce like their own grandma. Private graveside services will be held at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton. Friends may visit family on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
