Bio

According to her U. S. Naturalization papers (dated July 29, 1940) she was born in Podmokle, Bohemia on December 23, 1872, entered the United States on March 25, 1887 aboard the ship "Sally," was married to William Grimm on March 4, 1890 at South Omaha, Nebraska, and was the mother of three children: Mrs. Emma Brown, b. Feb. 22, 1891; William Grimm, b. Jan. 31, 1895; and Mrs. Josie Eriksen, b. Jan. 24, 1898, all born in South Omaha. The application also states her deceased husband was born in Shefloh, Germany. Her marriage license, states she was the daughter of Frank Jezek and Josie Fisher (Fisker?)
