(Published in Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 20, 2013) WASHBURN, Mo. — Wanda Fay Caldera, 74, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, in Bentonville, Ark. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, with the Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Caldera was born Aug. 18, 1939, in Canadian, Texas, to Harold H. and Juanita G. Thrasher. She was a big Elvis fan. Survivors include a son, Billy Wayne Morris of Washburn; a brother, Harold L. Thrasher of Clovis, N.M.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
