Bio

Barbara was the daughter of Josef & Alzbeta (Elizabeth) (Kadlec) Simanek, her mother remarried to Mr. Ficenec after her father's death. Barbara married Michael Prchal in May 1885 in Douglas Co, NE. They had 6 children: Edward, Emil, Bessie Rose, Irma, Anna and one that died in childhood. They farmed in Saunders Co, NE before moving to Spencer, NE.
