Son of Charles Robert Carlile and Amelia Snow Married Deon Fortie on January 6, 1926, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. She died on August 8, 1971 Married Ardena Rachel Cask on July 5, 1974, Utah, Utah. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survived by wife, Ardena; two daughters, Maretta (Kyle) Cummings (of Heber City) and Reva (Franklin) Tervort and son, Alvin (Kay) Carlile; two stepsons, Steven (Janell Cask) and George (Patsy Cask;) 24 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth, Tabiona; Douglas, John, and Elden, and sisters Pearl Remund and Ella Smith.
