Birth name: "Benjamin" E. Throckmorton Graduated from the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, Class of 1887. Currently known as Texas A&M University. McKinney, Tex. Feb 26 --The remains of Dr. B. E. Throckmorton arrived from Dallas on the 9:16 interurban express car last night, accompanied by Messrs. George and Frank Wilcox, Wallace Hughston, F. C. Thompson and J. Frank Smith, and were met at the station by the members of the Masonic and Knights of Pythias lodges, and the entire medical fraternity of McKinney. The remains were taken to Dr. Throckmorton's last home on South Tennessee street, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by his pastor, Rev. W. D. Thompson, pastor of the First Methodist Church, assisted by Rev. W. P. Cloyd and Rev. J. F. Pierce. Following the funeral services at the residence the Masons will take charge, and the interment will be made at Pecan Grove Cemetery, according to the burial rites of this order. The following will serve as active pallbearers: Wallace Hughston, George Wilcox, Harry Q. Smith, Henry W. Warden, Walter Price and J. Frank Smith. The entire medical fraternity of McKinney will act as honoary pallbearers. Mrs. James A. Barnett of San Angelo, Mrs. Robert Bennett of Coleman, Mrs. Anna Shirley of Austin and E. C. Throckmorton of Marietta, Cass County, with his son Fred, have already arrived to attend their brother's funeral.
