Bio

Son of Paul Terry and Susan Pittman Terry, died tragically in a nursing home bus fire, being evacualted because of hurricane Rita. Mr. Terry served in the US Navy. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School and attended the University of Houston. He was a member of Westbury Baptist Church. Bob, as he was known, first worked for Southern Pacific Rail Road where he met the love of his life, Betty Clark Terry who was from Monroe, Louisiana. He later worked and retired from Texaco. Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; son, Steven Craig Terry; siblings, Paul B. Terry, Jr., Jack Pittman Terry, and Joy Terry Price; and niece, Joy Lynn Price. He is survived by son Mark Douglas Terry; sisters Margaret Terry Sledge Haverfield, Ruth Terry Coppinger, and Rebecca Louise Terry Robbins, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and two sister-in-laws.
