Annie G. Dieringer HITCHCOCK—Mrs. Annie G. Dieringer passed from this life Wednesday evening in Texas City, Born January 21, 1901, in Shiner, Texas, Mrs. Dieringer had been a resident of Hitchcock since 1943, previously of Robetown, Texas. She had been a homemaker and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and The Braille Workshop at Peace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Dieringer was preceded in death by, her husband, Mr. Herbert J. Jtieringer; daughter, Dorothy Harriman; and granddaughter, Peggy Anderson. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Ed Carr, Joyce and Charles Anderson; sons and daughters-inlaw, John J. and Mary Ellen Dieringer and Harvey J. and Mary Beth Dieringer, all of Hitchcock; brothers, William Grossman, Rudolph Grossman, both of Orange Grove, Texas, Joseph Grossman, Alice, Texas, and Edwin Grossman, Seguin, Texas; sisters, Adelia Richter, Victoria, Texas, Hilda Hingst, Alice, Texas, and Mollie Klatt, Orange Grove, Texas; 22 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grand children. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m., Saturday, at Peace Lutheran Church in Texas City, Pastor, David Tessmann and Pastor Walter Dube officiating. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Steve Anderson, James Carr, Tommy Cox, Harvey Dieringer Jr., John (Joey) Dieringer Jr. and Frank (Frankie) Harriman. Honorary casketbearers will be David Anderson, Michael Carr, and Ray Cox. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m., Friday, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highways, 925-3501.
