Thanks to contributor #48796369 Anna Dorr, 97, of Aurora died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Page United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Page Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Higby Mortuary in Aurora. The casket will be open before services at the church. Mrs. Dorr was born on Jan. 23, 1901, in the Linwood area in the Platte River country to Charles and Mary (Semard) Homolka. She attended schools in that area and later moved with her parents to a ranch south of Chambers. She married Henry Dorr on Oct. 14, 1920. They farmed for many years around O'Neill and Page until Mr. Dorr's death. Survivors include three sons, L.O. Dorr of Whidbey Island, Wash., Duane Dorr of Page and Wayne Dorr of Aurora; three daughters, Dorothy Ekelund of Hopland, Calif., Marguerite Warren of Fort Bragg, Calif., and Betty Ulrich of Greeley, Colo.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Antoinette Burival and Adeline Kellar, both of O'Neill.
