Bascom R Harred Sept. 8, 2013-Oct10, 2013 Bascom R(B.R.) Harred Born Sept.8,1925 in Hopkins Co.,Texas, B.R. went to be with the Lord from his home in Mobile on Oct. 10. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eva,. He is also survived by two sons, Larry D.(Jane) of River Falls,Wisconsin and Garry R.(Jeanne) of Mobile, Al. He and Eva have 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. B.R. was a decorated veteran of World War II. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and enjoyed 28 years of retirement. B.R. was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church in his final years. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 11 AM. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Published in the The Mobile Press-Register from Oct. 11 to Oct. 13, 2013.
