Miss Angie Smith Died Tuesday ____ DAUGHTER OF MR. AND MRS. MONROE SMITH PASSES AWAY-- FUNERAL WEDNESDAYAFTERNOON______ Miss Angie Smith died at 5:30o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. MonroeSmith. She had been in declininghealth for some time, having neverfully recovered from an operation per-formed while living in Dallas last year. All that medical skill and hu-man agencies could do, was done forher recovery, but it seemed that deathwas inevitable. So kind, so gentle, of such a sunny disposition, and so muchbeloved in the home, the church, and like social circle, by relatives andfriends, this excellent young womanwill be missed beyond expression.The deceased was born at Summitt, Miss. Her parents came to Texaswhen she was quite young and locatedon a farm near Allen, Collin county.Some eight years ago they moved toMckinney, but spent a portion of lastyear in Dallas. In the passing awayof this daughter, it is the first death tooccur in a family of eight children.The brothers and sisters are as foll-ows; Linas Smith, J. Ollie Smithand Mrs. Frank Dowell of McKinney;Mrs. F. B. Rickerson, Bennington, Ok-lahoma; W. T. Smith, Richardson;Mrs. J. O. Neeley, Rusk, Texas and Mrs. W. B. Hansel, Dallas. All theabove were at her bedside at the timeof her demise, except Mrs. Rickerson, who is ill at her home.The aged parents are broken-heart-ed under the weight of their greatgrief.Miss Smith was converted at theage of fourteen years and united withthe Baptist church. She was everfaithful to its every teaching, and wasindeed a useful Christian, sheddingglory on the nameThe funeral services were held atthe First Baptist church, Wednesdayafternoon at 4 0'clock, her pastor Dr.E. E. Kind officiating.The interment was made in PecanGrove cemetery under the direction of the Crouch-Hartzog UndertakingCompany.The pallbearers were; B.B. Will-banks of Sherman, Dr. J. Knight, Her-bert Browne, Dr. Tillman H. Bryant,Eugene Crouch, Will Duer, D.D. Mar-tin and W. L. Fitzgerald.The floral offerings were profuse and beautiful.
