Bio
Bruce Arlington Dickinson, age 87, of Hueytown, AL, went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday, April 15, 2008. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Navy and was retired from US Steel. He is survived by his wife, daughter, son, two grandsons, three granddaughters, sister, brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 17, 2008 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Brown Service West Chapel. Funeral service will be Friday, April 18, 2008 at 11:00 am. in the chapel at the funeral home. Dr. Rick Patrick from Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Brown Service West Chapel is honored to serve the Dickinson family. -- Excerpt from obituary published April 17, 2008 in the Birmingham News
