HELEN ELAINE REIER TILLEY April 13th, 1922 - September 30th, 2013 Helen Elaine Reier Tilley died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Wildomar Senior Living Center. Helen was 91 at the time of her death. She was surrounded by her loving family and her gracious caregivers in the final days of her life. She was born on April 13, 1922 to William and Anna Reier on a farm outside Sumner, Nebraska. The youngest of 10 children, Helen was preceded in death by her mother, father, six sisters, three brothers, her grandson Rick and her loving husband Howard. She is survived by her children: Fredrick Howard Tilley (Denise) Laguna Beach, CA, Jack Duane Tilley Grand Rapids, MI, Sheri René Self (Ben) Menifee, CA, Thomas William Tilley (Sherri) Grand Prairie, TX, and Scott Matthew Tilley (Christy) Hemet, CA; grandchildren: Paul Thomas Tilley (Eileen), Danielle René Markley-Hendryx (Rob), Mathew Tilley, Justin Markley, Madisen R. Tilley, Amy Tilley, Sophia Elaine Tilley; great-grandchildren: Nikki Tilley, Danny Tilley, Patrick Reier Tilley, Marshall Hendryx. Helen was employed with the County of Los Angeles' Department of Resources and Collections where she held numerous positions before retiring after 25 years. Helen and Howard lived in Hemet after their retirement. Helen loved reading, latch hook, travel and caring for her grandchildren. She was a warm, devoted and loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, daughter, great grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. We will miss you, Mom, your spirit lives on in all of us.
