JOSHUA -- Shirley Hampton, 62, a homemaker, passed away Sunday, Jan. 16, 2005, at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Shirley was born Oct. 11, 1942, in Fort Worth. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth. Shirley was preceded in death by her father, William L. Brown; and two brothers, William L. Brown Jr. and John Douglas Rainey. Survivors: Husband of 34 years, William Hampton; son, Christopher Lynn Hampton; daughters, Cynthia Ann Kellar and Mary Martha Loller; five grandchildren; mother, Mary Rainey; mom, Helen Brown Kost; brothers, Floyd, Lonnie and Tracy Brown and Billy Haines; sisters, Barbara Hillsbury, Janie Grisham, Sammie Dolan, Corkey Pitzer and Bonnie Byrd; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
