MARSHALL - Services for Marlene Keeling, 75, of Elysian Fields, will be 1 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at the Hickory Hill Baptist Church in Avinger, with Bro. James Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Gilmer. Arrangements are by Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Keeling died July 6, 2010. Born September 6, 1934, in Bettie,TX she was a retired finance and insurance manager for Harper Motors in Minden, La., and a member of Hickory Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Kandis Dawn Schexnaidre, and sister, Lynn Duncan. Preceded in death by her son, Keith Keeling and husband Horace William "Bill" Keeling Jr whom she married in 1953.
