Bio

She was born in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Emily Cross and Ernest Dowling. She was the fifth of six children. Louise married her sweetheart, Francis Reinhold on April 5, 1951. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the Democratic Party. She served as a voting judge and welcomed voters into her home, which served as a polling place for many years. She was also active in local civic reform and neighborhood improvement. She was a member of the LDS church and served as the coordinator for her ward’s food storage program, a Temple Worker, a visiting teacher and a Relief Society teacher. She took great pride in caring for her home and family. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her four sisters and one brother. She was also preceded in death by many dear friends from her dance club and political activities. She is survived by her son, Ernest (Susan) Heywood of Pleasant View; her daughter, Carole (Ray) Baugh of Sunset; and her stepdaughter, Beverly Reinhold of Ogden. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
