From the Idaho Statesman, October 3, 1949: David T. Sillivan Succumbs in City David T. Sillivan, 91, Boise, died Sunday in a Boise nursing home. He was born July 18, 1857, in Indiana and came to Idaho in 1894. He settled in Dead Ox flat where he homesteaded. He moved to Boise in 1900. He was a retired miner. Mr. Sillivan was a member of the Emanuel Methodist church and the Woodmen of the World. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Fred McBurnie of Lebanon, Ore., and Mrs. J.E. Weed of Mountain Home; three brothers, G. F. Sillivan of Emmett, E.N. Sillivan of Sargent, Neb., and J.K. Sillivan of Spokane, Wash.; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. McBratney-Fowler chapel is in charge of arrangements of services.
