Willie K. Farmer, 79, passed away in Bedford, Texas, on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Visitation will be on Monday, September 30, 2013, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2013, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will be in Elm Branch Cemetery. Willie was born in Ennis, Texas to the late "Willie" William Walker Farmer and Gretchen E. (Davis) Farmer. He grew up in Bardwell, Texas, and graduated from Bardwell High School. After the death of his first wife, Willie married Sharon Breland and they made their home in Mesquite, Texas, until 1985 when they moved to Euless, Texas. He worked for Bell Helicopter for 35 years as a tool inspector. Willie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Euless and of the Masonic Lodge #1356. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eva Louise Owens Farmer in 1982; a daughter, Karen Irene Law in 2013; and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Farmer, of Euless; son, James Kirkland Farmer and his wife, Kathy; daughters, Kathy Hill and her husband, Marc, and Karla West; step-daughters, Kathy Murphy, Tammy Russell, and Lisa Akin; five grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Farmer and Kenneth Ray Farmer; many other relatives and numerous friends.
