Clyde Kimes Jun 25, 1895 - Aug 15, 1972 Clyde Kimes KERENS—Funeral services for Clyde Kimes, 76, native of Kerens who died Saturday in Memorial Hospital in Corsicana after a brief illness, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Presbyterian church here. The pastor, the Rev. J. K. Storey, will officiate. Burial will be in the Kerens City Cemetery under the direction of Paschal Funeral Home. He was a retired TP&L employe who had lived most of his life here, but had formerly resided in Dallas about 4 years. He was a verteran of World War 1 serving in the Navy. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sally Kimes, Kerens; one son, George E. Kimes of San Bruno, Calif.; and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Emily Barnes of Decatur. Pallbearers will be Owen Rogers, Eugene Hall, Robert Bruner, Jerry Chapman, Carol Boswell and Milton Clanton.
