Betty was born to Steve and Mary Legino and had been a homemaker. She had lived in Elko for the past 10 years, coming from Carpenter, WY. She had been a singer at the war bond rallies during World War II, had been on the Committee Against Domestic Violence and had been an assistant district manager for Avon in Wyoming. Survivors include her husband, James Beno of Spring Creek; son, Terry Beno of Fort Collins, CO; daughters, Rae Dee Beno of St. Louis, MO, DenaKae Pasqua of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; brothers, Eli Legino of Omaha, Nick Legino of Las Vegas, Robert Legino of Carr, CO, and George Legino of Ault, CO; sisters, Annie Hogan of Wahoo, NB, Helen Radnov and Jaya Brusan of Omaha, and Mildred Pecel of Pasadena, CA; and five grandchildren. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.
