Bio
Dr. Biggers was born in York Co., SC. He was the son of Robert Guion Biggers and Martha Elizabeth Dover. His grandparents were Amziah and Margaret Biggers of York Co., SC. He attended medical school in Nashville, TN in 1893. In 1895, Dr. Biggers performed as a graduate at the Hospital of Medical Knowledge at Memphis, TN. His first medical practice was at Percilla in Houston Co., TX. His future wife Annie Gilmore was teaching school in nearby Slocum, TX. They were married in 1903 at her home in Denson Springs, Texas. In 1908, they moved to Coleman Co., TX. In 1919, they moved to Canyon, TX.
