Sorrells & Sons Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Mr. Irwin was born in Point, Jan. 29, 1911, to C.L. and Sarah Brightwell Irwin. He was married to Mary Horton July 17, 1934. He was a retired employee of Shirey Co. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Central Christian Church. Survivors are his wife; a son, Bill Irwin of Mesquite; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Jordan of Carrolton (sic); two sisters, Mrs. J.E. White of Greenville and Mrs. F.M. Dunn of Crosbyton; and three grandchildren, Richard Jordan, Faunda Jordan and Brandi Irwin.
