Services for Carl F. "Ned" Harrison, 85, of Fairfield were held at Round Prairie Baptist Church with Rev. Ed Ridge officiating. He was born in Dew, to Buck and Emma Harrison. He was a lifetime resident of Freestone County. He was a plumber and a member and past commander of the Fairfield Veterans of Foreign War Post 5782; member of the Palestine Disabled Americans Veterans and of the American Legion. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and member of Round Prairie Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Finis Harrison; and two grandchildren, Carl Wayne Shamblin and Cynthia Shamblin. Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Christine Ivy Harrison of Fairfield; daughters, Sarah Shamblin of Fairfield and Emma Grace Mooney of Alvin; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
