Bio
originally buried in Newton County, Texas, her parents traveled to Texas to retrieve her body and her surviving infant daughter, Elisa Henrietta Sutton, and returned with them to Arcadia. They reinterred Elizabeth in this cemetery and raised Henrietta as their own. (per letter from Robert and Rachel's granddaughter Ethel Pace Roberson to her cousin Marjorie Ozley Smelley, who wrote about her recollections of her grandparents. The letter was written about 1977, when Ethel was 90 years old).
