Wilma Jean Shackelford, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Wilma was born October 8, 1927, in Delaney, Arkansas to parents William Loyd Gabbard and Beula Ritchie Gabbard. She is survived by her children; sons, Ron Shackelford and wife Ethel of Combs, Arkansas; and Glen Shackelford and wife Carolyn, of Elkins, Arkansas; a daughter, Pamela Clark and husband Doug, of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mary Lou Bonham, of West Fork, Arkansas, and Lorene Provence, of Lincoln, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Anna Gawf and husband Michael of Springdale, Arkansas, Michael McCarter and wife Sarah, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Jenna Shackelford, of Fayetteville. She leaves three great-grandchildren, Kaylea and Averie Gawf, of Springdale, and Regan McCarter of Fayetteville, and step great-grandson, Andrew Godfrey, of Fayetteville. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Brannon Mountain Church with the Reverend Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial will follow at Brannon Mountain Cemetery.
