PORTLAND -- Rose Baker, 73, died Dec. 3, 2007 at Maine Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Lewiston, April 15, 1934, daughter of the late Lincoln and Edith Day Marston. Raised in Portland, she enjoyed flowers, spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Clyde W. Baker; a son Walter W. Baker of Portland; eight daughters, Georgia Cardona of Falmouth, Crystal Dorizzi of Connecticut, Ruby Humiston, Nina Dean, Evelyn Higgins and Tammy McLaskey all of Portland, Terry Lailer of Warren and Rosemary Todd of Missouri and their spouses; three sisters, and a brother; 44 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Thursday Dec. 6, 2007 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland Funeral services will be Friday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
