Married to Thomas Clyde Hurd children Calvin, Margaret and Ruth THE DAILY REPUBLIC (Mitchell, SD) 3 February 1970 Page 12: MRS. TOM HURD RITES AT WINNER WINNER -- Funeral services for Mrs. Tom (Christine) Hurd, 80, Tripp County homesteader, were Jan. 30 at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Earl Stucks officiating. Interment was in the Winner Cemetery under the direction of the Mason Funeral Home. Mrs. Hurd died Jan. 27 at the Gregory Hospital. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Tony (Margaret) Novotny. Mrs. Ruth Scheiinost, Winner; a son, Calvin, Winner two brothers, Henry and Andrew, Iowa. Four sisters: Mrs. George Godfrey, Ames, Iowa; Mrs. Levet Warne, Laurens, Iowa; Mrs. Emma Johnson, Emmetsburg, Iowa and Mrs. Hannah Jensen, Los Angeles; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
