Scobie"Ian"Arnott Aug 21,1957-Sept 5,2013 Scobie "Ian" Arnott Jr., 56, passed away September 5, 2013 at his home in Gering Ne. A private viewing will be held September 9, 2013, a Memorial Service will be held at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Burial services will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering Ne. Ian was born on August 21, 1957 in Winchester Ma., the son of Scobie Arnott Sr. and Marilyn (Maxon) Arnott. He attended Ensworth School in Nashville TN and later attended Gering High School. He managed and then owned Arnott's Hardware Lawn and Garden Center in Gering where he dedicated 17 years of his life. He eventually returned to school and attended Aims Community College in Greeley CO where he obtained his Associates degree in Criminal Justice.He was married to the late Ivanda "Ivy" Arnott for 17 years and together they had two children Krystal (Arnott) Rodriguez and Scobie Arnott III. He took any opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren Adryana, Alyck, and Maxon. In addition he had various hobbys such as photography, and coin collecting. Survivors include his daughter Krystal (Arnott) and Jason Rodriguez and their children Adryana and Alyck of Scottsbluff; son Scobie and Mary (Mumm) Arnott III and child Maxon of Scottsbluff; father Scobie Arnott Sr. of North Carolina formally of Scottsbluff; brother Russel Arnott of Washington; brother Carl and Kim Arnott and their children the quadruplets Brooke, Brittany, Brianne, and Campbell of North Carolina formally of Mitchell; brother Keith and Becky Arnott and children Collin and Teige of North Carolina; brother Roger and Jamie Arnott and children Sydney and Hallie of North Carolina.He was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn (Maxon) Arnott as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
