married: Dec 9,1939--or it's Dec 9,1933(date on stone) the last number is faded,not sure which one it is Parent of:Beth, Kenneth, James ------------- ODESSA Louise Pipkin, a resident of Odessa since 1943, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the age of 90 in Lubbock at Covenant Medical Center. Louise was born to E.E. "Pat" and Myrtle Christian Hagerty in Depew, Okla., on Jan. 19, 1919. She graduated from High School in Wilson, Okla., where she was salutatorian. She married P.E. "Bo" Pipkin in Durant, Okla., and they were married for 49 years until his death in 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Maureen Kramer of Oklahoma City and Doris Clowdus of Runaway Bay; and her grandson, Todd Pipkin. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at First United Methodist Church in Odessa with Reverend Terry Tamplen officiating at 11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009. Services will be under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Odessa American, The (TX) - Thursday, June 11, 2009
