Bio

Stephen D. "Whitey" Bryant , 41, of Springfield died at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday at Doctors Hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1952, in Springfield, the son of John W. and Margaret Louise Prince Bryant. Mr. Bryant worked for Bryant and Sons Disposal for many years. Surviving are his parents, John W. and Margaret Louise Prince Bryant Sr. of Sherman; two sisters, Linda Kelley of Springfield and Sandra Brooks of Sherman; three brothers, Robert L. Bryant of Murphysboro, Tenn., and John W. Bryant Jr. and Alan N. Bryant, both of Sherman; several nieces and nephews; and a companion, Deborah Crumpler. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bisch and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan Roseberry officiating. Burial will be in Old Berlin Cemetery.
