Bio

Funeral services were held October 28 at Plymouth Congregational Church with the Rev. Monica Bauer officiating for Hazel L. Feeken, 77, who died October 24 in Lincoln. Interment was at Crete Riverside Cemetery. Hazel was the daughter of Fred Feeken and Bertha Kortman Feeken. She was born September 25, 1906 at Saline County, Nebraska, was baptized January 13, 1907 by Pastor G.A. Kanzler and confirmed April 16, 1922 at Crete German Congregational Church by Pastor J. Peter Wagner. She had been a member of Plymouth Congregational Church for over 60 years. She attended Dist. 31, Saline County, and Crete High School. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Senior Citizens of Crete. She was a retired sales clerk. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. She is survived by brother, George Feeken of Syracuse; sister-in-law, DeEtta Feeken of Crete; nephew, Frederick Feeken of North Platte; and niece, Kathleen (Mrs. Merla) Moss of Lincoln.
