On stone with Mervin Robins ∼ Emogene Hill Alaminski, 83, of Waco, entered into eternal rest Monday, July 7, 2008. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10, in Bruceville with the Rev. Carrol Hambrick officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Pecan Grove Funeral Home in Waco. Emogene was born in Dott, Texas to the late Marshall Hill and Hassie (Conley) Hill. She was a charter member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church. In her younger years, she loved to attend her sons' sports activities, fishing and yard work. In her later years, she loved dancing and garage sales. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Robins; second husband, Albert Alaminski; a son, Mervin E. Robins; six sisters; and one brother. She is survived by her son, Mike Robins and wife, Judy, of Hewitt; daughter-in-law, Janelle Robins, of Eddy; grandchildren, Jeff Robins, Amanda Laxson and husband, Charles, Lisa Dragoo and husband, Mike, Ritchie Robins and wife, Sheryl, Marty Robins, Jason Robins and Rhonda Kohutek; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Billie Joyce Cotharn and husband, Kenneth, of Robinson, Bobbie Charlene Edwards, of Lorena; many other family members; and a host of friends.
