McAFEE Chapel services for Selvan Evans McAfee, Sr., 74, of 1022 Stirman, who died at 2:15 p.m. Saturday will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Ross Langham Mortuary Chapel with Mr. John Stuckey, minister of Norton Street Church of Christ officiating, and assisted by Mr. Jim Owen. Burial will follow in Seaside Memorial Park. He was born in Collin County, Texas and had lived in Corpus Christi 1926. He moved here from Klegg, Texas. He was a member of Norton Street Church of Christ. He was a warehouseman for Southern Mineral Corporation until his retirement in 1965 after having been there 20 years. Survivors include his wife, Fern, Corpus Christi; three sons, Selvan Evans McAfee, Jr., Corpus Christi, William Cecil McAfee, Bloomington, Texas, Marshall McAfee, Victoria; two daughters, Mrs. Ila Fern Odom, Houston, Mrs. Marguerite Algermissen, San Antonio; one brother, Lewis McAfee, Corpus Christi; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
