Catherine M. Nelson Posted: Monday, September 22, 2008 Catherine M. Nelson, age 68, Brainerd area resident, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at St. Joseph's Medical Center. Catherine was born in Faribault, Minn., on Feb. 7, 1940, to Wilfred and Evelyn (Gagnon) Juaire. She married Glenn Nelson on Feb. 15, 1960, in South Dakota. She is survived by her husband, Glenn; four children, Lana (Jim) Yaunick, Barry (Betty) Nelson, Brenda (Jeff) Malloy and Darryl Nelson, all of Brainerd; grandchildren Jessica (Mike) Niemi, Brent (Heather) Yaunick, Jamie Yaunick, Brandon Yaunick, Travis (Amanda) Malloy, Scott (Julia) Malloy, Tyler Malloy, Jonathan (fiancee Kristina) Nelson, Dellis Nelson, Barry Nelson, David Nelson, Kaloub Nelson and Brock Nelson; great-grandchildren Addyson Malloy, Ella Yaunick and two expected great-grandchildren; her siblings, Ernie (Carol) Juaire, Jake (Sharon) Juaire, Jane (Bob) Rager, Ella (James) Mitchell, Roger (Ann) Juaire, Buddy Juaire, Bert (Marcia) Juaire, Wayne (June) Juaire, Carol Juaire, Marilyn (John) Gregersen, Clinton (Louise) Juaire and Lyle (Wendy) Juaire; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, 2008, at St. Mathias Catholic Church with Rev. Dr. Paul Fruth officiating. Burial will be in St. Mathias Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:30-8 p.m. with the rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday. Visitation at the church on Monday the hour before services.
