(Published in Amarillo Daily News, September 7, 1939) PORTALES, Sept. 6 (special) - Funeral services for John William Lyon of LaLande, N.M., were held yesterday morning in the Wheeler Mortuary with interment in the Roswell cemetery. Mr. Lyon died here yesterday after an illness of several weeks.
